Gallery Blue Bling Belle's Art Gallery Visit October 28, 2019.
The display, called "Grand Theft Terra Firma", by David Campion and Sandra Shields, was patterned after the game, Grand Theft Auto. It was a collection of carefully staged photographs and artifacts depicting strategies developed by Europeans to acquire the traditional territory and resources of indigenous people. Dot Painting

Bonnie provided paint, tools and clear instructions for creating dot mandalas. We each went home with a beautiful small "piece of art" and plans to make use of our new skills.

Darcie Smith, Community Outreach Librarian, at the Prince George Public Library, showed us how to use the Library website and showed us around the building to see what is available for us to use in the library and to borrow. Several of us were able to update our library cards or apply for new ones after the tour.

Margaret showed pictures from her most recent trip to Hungary. She spoke about the history of the country and daily life for people there. She brought items made in Hungary to see, and we enjoyed sampling some typical Hungarian food.
